I’m sorry Dylan Farrow was sexually assaulted as a child, has PTSD and is the victim of the secondary trauma from being attacked for speaking out and having her credibility and sanity questioned.

I’m grateful for her courage and the conversation she has sparked. So many survivors of all ages have gone public with support and their own stories. And while some of the comments and articles written are pretty hard to take and triggering, many show great courage, insight and that things have changed, at least a little, for those who have endured sexual trauma as children by family members.

The link to Dylan Farrow’s letter is below, as well as some articles and commentary following.

In addition, there is a link to court documents from the ruling on Woody Allen’s appeal after the 1993 trial with Mia Farrow. Finally, there is an article of an interview with him from 1976 that I actually didn’t believe could have been printed because in it, he said, “I’m open-minded about sex. I’m not above reproach; if anything, I’m below reproach. I mean, if I was caught in a love nest with 15 12-year-old girls tomorrow, people would think, yeah, I always knew that about him.” Allen pauses. “Nothing I could come up with would surprise anyone,” he ventures helplessly. “I admit to it all.”
