“It’s all trauma all the time” I told the guy I’m seeing\u00a0in\u00a0case that was going to be an issue.<\/p>\n

\"10689647_10204630071062492_6205421464673863542_n\"\u00a0Trauma is in my personal history, is the topic of most of my writing and what I tend to read, think about and study.<\/p>\n

It’s not as heavy as it sounds. I can be funny, relaxed and talk about\u00a0other things such as whether cantaloupe goes better in quinoa salad than watermelon or if Newsroom isn’t as sharp this season as it used to be.<\/p>\n

But,\u00a0if a guy\u00a0 isn’t good with my kid and\u00a0interested in hearing about trauma, trauma survivors, breaking the cycle and and\u00a0living well on earth after being raised in hell – well –\u00a0it ain’t gonna work.<\/p>\n

Because even though my life is peaceful, joyful and centered now I spent decades working on issues such as these:<\/p>\n
