YOU made my day. Not just the compliments (but thank you) but the way you write! You can write! If I was one to cry, I’d be sobbing right now. Instead, I’m smiling and grateful to know the message resonated. If I can be compared to food, at all, that is a very good day any day. But to needed soup from someone who knows hungry. I can’t think of a better word than real. Like being served a hot meal in a soup kitchen by someone who knows what it is like to go hungry. Your message resonated with me both personally and professionally, as I am sure it did for many, and I have begun to better recognize my own trauma-smudged lens through which I see the world. Thank you for sucking it up and sharing when it was hard. It mattered…big time.
